About Sue Ridgewell

ABOUT SUE

"I'm passionate about expressing myself through writing. I always find that it takes me time to think of the right things to say. That's why I like writing because I can take my time and get my words right. I feel like I am more present in the world because I am getting my thoughts and feelings out. I still remember when I was in high school and had to speak in front of the class. I couldn't do it and failed that unit. That's when I knew that I needed to write. Now I am an active member of the Los Angeles Poets and Writers Collective and I am expressing myself in so many different ways - Poetry, Prose, short stories."

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATION

Part of the charm of The Bits Left Behind is the artwork created by Nikki Snyder. Nikki is an Equadorian American artist based in the Los Angeles area. She received a BA of Art from California State University Northridge, where she studied illustration. When not working, she spends her time playing video games, Dungeons and Dragons, and spoiling her dog Hunter rotten. See more of her art @resolart
